Warrensburg Parks & Recreation Changes Face Covering Policy

Warrensburg Parks & Recreation (WPR) has removed the mandatory face covering policy at the Warrensburg Community Center, in accordance with the Johnson County Community Health Services countywide order of March 25, 2021.

All guests and visitors are encouraged, but not required, to wear a face covering when entering the Community Center. WPR asks that you follow social distancing protocol, allowing for at least 6 feet distance between individuals, wash hands or use hand sanitizer often, and get a COVID-19 vaccine when available.

The safety of all participants, young and old, in any of our programs, events, sports and classes is of the utmost importance to us. Event and sports staff are required to wear masks at all times and use gloves when serving food and drink. Our goal is to make sure you and your kids have fun in a safe, controlled environment.

Parks & Recreation will continue to follow social distancing protocol and sanitization practices and asks the public to help them to continue taking extra precautions to protect themselves and others from the spread of germs and infectious diseases, including COVID-19.
